Worship at Temple
Temple Beth-El holds Shabbat evening and morning services throughout the year. All holy days and festivals are celebrated. Please check the Temple calendar for specific times. Sitters are provided at no charge for all evening Shabbat services featuring B'nai Mitzvah or special speakers/programs.
Shabbat services often involve interactive discussions about the Torah portion, highlighting its modern meaning. Oneg Shabbat receptions following services provide wonderful opportunities to socialize with members and meet new friends.
Music and singing also enhance our worship services. Temple Beth-El employs a music director and a part-time student Cantor from the HUC-JIR School of Sacred Music in New York. In addition, members frequently volunteer as cantorial soloists and musicians for services.
On occasion, religious school classes as well as Sisterhood and Brotherhood members lead services. In addition, every Bar or Bat Mitzvah leads services with family involvement.
Services are open to one and all, as our Congregation prays together as a family. We welcome and encourage all congregants to worship at all B'nai Mitzvah, holiday, and festival services at Temple Beth-El.
