Task: This group of individuals works on the annual budget process. This includes not only establishing the budget, but investigating, monitoring, and implementing any program which could bring us cost savings.

BYLAWS: Chair: Bob Rosenfeld

Task: Temple's By-laws chair acts as our Temple's legal counsel for the Board of Trustees concerning the maintenance and continual updating of our by-laws.

COMPUTER CONSULTANTS & WEB SITE:

COMMISSION ON WORSHIP: Chair: Jay Brockman

Task: This committee is engaged in reviewing Jewish Religious observances and practices at Temple, through education, text study and congregational dialogue. Members lead and support worship services.

DUES FAIRNESS: Financial Secretary, Paul Goldwin

Task: The Dues Fairness Committee is responsible for reviewing individual dues categories and insuring these categories are fair, consistent and equitable to all of our members. This committee is charged with collection of arrearages, approval of payment arrangements, and promoting/enhancing newly established guarantor memberships.

ENDOWMENT: Chair: Mara Boettcher

Task: This chair is responsible for the ongoing review of Temple's endowment funds portfolio. The chair works with our committee chairs to understand each specific fund's purpose and to control the expenditure of each fund's earnings.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT TEAM: 1st Vice President, Gayle Hachen:

Events, Lynda Simon; House, Stu Fishman; Grounds, Paul Klein.

Task: This team will determine and manage the use, function and adornment of all Temple space. This team will consist of the Rabbi, the 1st Vice President, the Religious School Educator, the Chair of the Commission on Worship, the House Chair and three members-at-large.

FEDERATION: Liaison: Bob Rosenfeld

Task: This individual is charged with the responsibility for maintaining Temple's contact with the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley.

FUNDRAISING: 2nd Vice President, Judy Shroyer:

Book of Memory, Janet Berman; Deli Day, Anita Fishman; Dollars & Sense, Lisa Gerber; Simcha Scroll, Anita Fishman.

Task: This chair works on providing year-round programming for fundraising efforts.

INVESTMENT COMMITTEE: Past President, David Mirkin; Committee Members: Past Presidents

Task: Composed of our Temple's past presidents, our Investment Committee is charged with monitoring our Temple's endowment investment activities. They are responsible for the selection and oversight of Temple's financial advisors as well as the annual reporting of these activities to our Board of Trustees.
